
Every Community Transit bus is equipped with a wheelchair lift or ramp. Coach Operators are trained to assist people with disabilities in boarding and securing their wheelchairs on the bus.

Every Community Transit bus is equipped with a front rack that holds at least two bicycles. Some buses now have three-bike racks, and more will be installed later in 2008. Simple instructions for use are printed on the bike rack.

Community Transit contracts with the Snohomish County Sheriff's Department to provide safety and security for our buses and park & rides. All buses have two-way radios and alarm systems to notify our dispatchers if there is a problem or need for assistance. We also have security cameras on board buses and at some park & rides.
