Community Transit would like to thank the riders who have participated in our WI-FI demonstration project. WI-FI wireless Internet access is no longer available on Community Transit buses. Many riders now have many other ways of accessing the Internet using their own technology while traveling with us.

While the pilot project to test the value of WI-FI was launched several years ago with a hope of expanding WI-FI and attracting customers, low customer response, budget constraints and changing technology have altered those plans. The aging WI-FI equipment has now been removed from all buses rather than investing limited resources in maintaining it.
