What is a TDP?

Each year, Community Transit updates its six-year Transit Development Plan (TDP), which forecasts the agency's financial picture and outlines services it can then provide.

The TDP is required by Washington State, Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 35.58.2795. The plan is updated annually and submitted to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT)

Our plan:
  • Summarizes accomplishments from the past calendar year
  • Documents agency goals and strategies for the current and following five years
  • Identifies needed resources
  • Provides a financial forecast
