Welcome to Community Transit’s Procurement Information Section.

Community Transit’s Procurement Department supports the purchasing of goods and services that are essential to providing transportation services for the citizens of Snohomish County. In serving Snohomish County’s needs, Procurement staff are dedicated to providing efficient and responsive service, in full compliance with Community Transit’s legal requirements, while upholding the highest ethical and professional standards.

The goal of this site is to assist our vendor community in doing business with Community Transit by providing information and access to current solicitations.

Community Transit advertises all solicitations (Invitations to Bid and Requests for Proposals) over $10,000 on this website. Any solicitation over $100,000 dollars will also be advertised in the Everett Herald.

ITB 25-12 Real Time Public Information Signs Phase 2

Community Transit will be accepting bids from experienced General Contractor firms to furnish all required material, labor, and equipment to install electrical and communications infrastructure for the installation of real time message signs at the Lynnwood Transit Center, Ash Way Park & Ride and Mountlake Terrace Transit Center.

The engineer’s estimate for this project is $66,000. The awarded Contractor has 60 calendar days to complete the work.

A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for May 9, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Ash Way Park & Ride which is located at 16327 Ash Way Lynnwood, WA 98087.

Sealed bids are due by 2:00pm on May 22, 2012.

RFP #32-12, Maintenance Support Vehicle Service Body

Community Transit seeks proposals from qualified vendors to provide a Mainteance Support Vehicle Service Body. 

Supply and install a fully functional vehicle service body per specifications.  Body shall be installed on a 2012 Ford Super Duty F550XL provided by Community Transit.

Proposals are due by 2:00 p.m., June 1, 2012.

Pre-proposal Conference, May 22, 2012.

ITB 29-12 KPOB Building C Gutter Replacement
Closes: 06/07/12 @ 02:00 PM

Community Transit will be accepting bids from experienced General Contractor firms to provide all materials and labor for the fabrication, assembly and installation of replacement rain gutters at the Kasch Park Operating Base, building ‘C’, as outlined in the attached drawings and specifications.  The base bid is for replacement gutters, downspouts, and flashing modifications associated with approximately 715 lineal feet of metal gutters.

The estimated range for this project is from $66,094 to $77,109.

Complete specifications may be obtained from Community Transit’s web page, and potential bidders are strongly encouraged to register and download specifications electronically.

There will be a pre-bid conference scheduled for May 17, 2012 at 9:30 am, at KPCR Facilities Conference Room which is located at 2312 West Casino Road, Everett, WA  98204. The purpose of the pre-bid conference will be to discuss and answer questions regarding this ITB process, terms, conditions, Bid submittals, specifications, drawings, and the project scope.  Contractors are encouraged to visit the site prior to the pre-bid conference to assess the work required.  SITE VISIT: Due to operations and security, this meeting will be the only time that access to the site will be granted.

    • Community Transit has partnered with Builders Exchange of Washington to provide electronic access to project documents and plans for selected solicitations.  Builders Exchange provides innovative tools to enable contractors and business partners to view online, or download, plans, specifications and relevant addendums, including the Bid Recording Form.
  • Contractors must have a valid Washington State Contractor's license and, depending on the project, bonding, such as bid bonds, performance and payment bonds, may apply. Additionally, insurance coverage, such as Commercial General Liability Insurance, Business Auto Liability, Worker's Comp, may apply, and the contractor must have the ability to name the Community Transit as additional insured.
  • Community Transit is a public agency and, per the Revised Code of Washington, prevailing wages apply on all public works projects. Prevailing wage rates are available from the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries. Click on the Prevailing Wages link to obtain the current wage rates for Snohomish County and to obtain more detailed information regarding prevailing wages.
