Shoreline North 185th St Station
As part of light rail’s extension to Snohomish County, Community Transit is planning to connect the Swift Blue Line to Link at the future North Shoreline 185th St station. A new crane went up at the site in mid-September (North Shoreline graphics courtesy Sound Transit):
Mountlake Terrace Transit Center
A majority of the concrete columns at the future Mountlake Terrace Station have been completed and work is progressing in areas both north and south of the transit center. The Freeway Station remains closed and column work in the median of I-5 is expected to be completed in the coming months.
Lynnwood Transit Center
Starting on September 28 there will a new parking shift at the Lynnwood Transit Center to allow for construction of the future parking garage to begin. You can view a map here.
The southeast portion of the transit center, pictured below, will be closed for approximately two and a half years to allow for garage construction.
A portion of the construction work, such as installing overhead girders, usually happens in the evening and overnight, which can cause delay to late-night riders. Please make sure to subscribe to alerts or visit our Link Construction page for up-to-date information.
