Community Transit has issued a Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) Rules for the Community Transit Casino Road Renovation – Administrative Headquarters.
About the project:
The Casino Road Renovation will convert a building owned by Community Transit to its administrative headquarters. The project will renovate part of an existing two-story building to create new administrative offices and related spaces supporting approximately 160 employees to be relocated from other Community Transit facilities. Work includes extensive interior renovations, exterior façade improvements, two small building additions, and site work to improve storm drainage, on-site parking, and traffic flow.
After review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the agency, Community Transit has determined that this proposal will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment.
The public is invited to comment on this DNS by submitting written comments no later than 5:00 p.m., April 14, 2020:
