Community Transit updates its bus schedule twice a year and prints these schedule updates along with other service information in a book we call the “Bus Plus.” Copies are available on Community Transit buses, at transit centers and park & rides, and online at communitytransit.org/busplus.
If you are a regular user of our Bus Plus book, you may notice some changes to it when newly updated books become available on buses before the October service change. You can also get a sneak peek of the new Bus Plus on our website.
Our goal is to make the experience of riding with us as easy and convenient as possible. The work to update the Bus Plus and make it a better experience for riders began in the fall of 2020. These changes have been informed by rider survey data, multiple interviews with different stakeholders, and our understanding of the journey someone takes when planning a trip and riding with us.
Some of the changes include adjusting the order of content to reflect the process of planning a trip, a “New Rider” guide at the front of the book, removing duplicate content, and making the guide easier to quickly read with simple language, bulleted lists, and icons.
We hope that these changes help make getting the information you need a better and easier experience. If you have feedback about these changes, please share it with us at communitytransit.org/comments.Community Transit updates its bus schedule twice a year and prints these schedule updates along with other service information in a book we call the “Bus Plus.” Copies are available on Community Transit buses, at transit centers and park & rides, and online at communitytransit.org/busplus.
