A Dozen Vans, a Dozen Deserving Non-profits, and a Multitude of Gratitude

Cheers were heard. Gratitude was heartfelt. And, despite the virtual setting, you could feel the excitement and joy as representatives from 12 non-profits were recognized and awarded a Van GO Program surplus vehicle.

On January 6, 2022, Community Transit's Van GO Program awarded 12 surplus vans to the following non-profit organizations.

Since its creation in 2000, the Van GO Program ceremony has occurred at board meetings. Organizations granted a van are introduced, celebrated, and given their keys. For the past two years, ceremonies have taken place virtually due to COVID-19 safety precautions.

The video below is from the January 6 Board of Directors' monthly meeting (see news release published January 11, 2022). Please enjoy hearing about each of these deserving organizations and experience the joy and gratitude for yourself!
