Non-Discrimination Policy
Civil Rights Act of 1964

"No person in the United States shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance."  -  Title VI

Pursuant to federal laws (Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Environmental Justice Regulations) and in accordance with applicable state and local laws: Community Transit grants all citizens equal access to its transportation services.

Community Transit Title VI Program

If you believe you have been discriminated against on the basis of race, color or national origin by Community Transit, you may file a Title VI complaint by completing, signing and submitting the agency’s Title VI Complaint Form. 

How to file a complaint with Community Transit

  1. Download a PDF of the Title VI Complaint Form. Or, have a form mailed to you by contacting Customer Service at (425) 353-RIDE (7433), (800) 562-1375, TTY Relay 711 or riders@commtrans.org
  2. Complaints must be filed within 180 days of the alleged discriminatory act and should contain as much detailed information about the alleged discrimination as possible.
  3. The form must be signed and include your contact information.
