Community Transit operates transit services across Snohomish County, Washington, helping people get from where they are to where they want to be.

Who We Serve, Yesterday and Today

Community Transit started in 1976, operating 18 buses on seven routes across seven cities.
 
Today, the agency employs nearly 800 people, operating more than 350 buses on 46 routes across 19 cities and two counties.

Snohomish County Public Transportation Benefit Area 2020

Community Transit strengthens community connections within Snohomish County and regional connections to Link light rail, downtown Seattle and major transit hubs.
 
As the region’s population grows, the agency plans to expand service and jobs to meet future demand for high-quality transit.
