Small and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises

Community Transit promotes and encourages small business participation, which include small, minority and women owned businesses in its procurement opportunities.

The agency is interested in firms that demonstrate a commitment to equal employment opportunities and encourages firms to employ a workforce that reflects the regions diversity and to adhere to non-discrimination provisions.

To be considered as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), firms must be certified by the Washington State Office of Minority and Women's Business Enterprises (OMWBE) prior to the bid/proposal submittal date. Information regarding Disadvantaged Business Enterprises currently certified with the State of Washington is available at http://www.omwbe.wa.gov/
