Protests and demonstrations play a vital role in democracy, but they can also be unpredictable and impact our service. Community Transit's top priority is always the safety of our riders and employees. At times, community events or demonstrations will require us to re-route service to safely transport our riders.
There may be an increase in community demonstrations on or following Election Day, Nov. 3. We are working with local and regional law enforcement and our transit agency partners to prepare for possible service disruptions.
The best way to stay informed about service disruptions and cancelations is to subscribe to Rider Alerts. Rider Alerts are also posted on our website or @MyCommTransBus Twitter account. For Seattle-Snohomish County travel options when service is disrupted, please visit https://bit.ly/backtosnoco.
Please direct all questions regarding protests or civil demonstrations to the law enforcement agency in which the demonstration is observed.
