Snow Service Update

Updated Dec. 5, 2022

All bus service is operating on a regular schedule.

If a snow event affects our service schedules and routes, we will post updates here and will send rider alerts to specific routes. Please bookmark this page for future reference.

What you should know about snow schedules and routes

  • Please refer to the Snow Schedule listed below. During snow events, we do not operate all trips. This list shows which trips will not operate.
  • First and last trips for all routes will be served, including for Sound Transit routes we operate.
  • When a bus route is on Snow Route, please check the published map to see which areas are not being served.

Updates will be posted:

  • Online hourly on weekdays from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Online on weekends at 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. If conditions require additional trip cancellations, a separate Rider Alert will be sent.

Call Customer Care. If you have questions about trip planning, transit information or have a comment, please call (425) 353-RIDE (7433) or (800) 562-1375. You can also email riders@commtrans.orgNote: Customer Care is open weekdays from 6:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. and is closed on weekends and holidays.

    Snow Routes

Snow routes let drivers and riders know the safest routing a bus will take during a snow event.

On Snow Route maps, a solid line indicates that a segment of the route is being served; a dotted line indicates a portion that will not be served.
