Employees who carpool, vanpool, bike, walk, or take transit to work.

Use this benefit up to six times a year. One stop allowed per ride if needed.

When can you use this service?

You’ve commuted using any transit mode except your own vehicle and while at work:

  • You or a family member becomes ill.
  • There’s a childcare issue.
  • Your rideshare vehicle left early.
  • Your bike (or similar) has a flat tire or mechanical issue.

How do you get home?

  1. Explain the emergency to your Employee Transportation Coordinator.
  2. Fill out the GRH voucher.
  3. Book a ride home via our preferred taxi provider and tell them this is a Community Transit Guaranteed Ride Home service request.
  4. Give your taxi driver the GRH voucher (you are responsible for any driver tips).
