Snohomish County, Wash. – Community Transit today announced that Eunjoo Greenhouse has been named the agency’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this role, Greenhouse will lead the Finance and Administration Department, which includes the finance, accounting, procurement & parts, and general administration divisions. She will join Community Transit on October 24.
Greenhouse has more than 20 years of financial leadership experience, including her current role where she has served for seven years as Deputy Finance Director for King County’s Finance and Business Operations Division. In this role, she oversees a team of 180, successfully led coordination of more than $700 million in federal grants operations and deployed a new procurement system. Other roles Greenhouse has held include Senior Administrator for King County’s Public Health Environmental Health Division, Business and Finance Officer for King County Metro, and Budget Analyst for King County’s Executive Budget Office.
Greenhouse is certified as a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma and is a King County Certified Coach. During her career, Greenhouse has used her training and experience to lead Lean culture change efforts, implement equity and social justice initiatives, and focus on consistently improving employee engagement.

Greenhouse earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History at the Ewha Women’s University in Seoul, South Korea. In her free time, she loves to spend time hiking, skiing, or traveling with her husband Stephen, and their two young children Zoe and Alex.
