Agency to Host On-Site Job Fair, Oct. 30

Agency to hire 100 bus driver trainees in 2020

Snohomish County, Wash. – Community Transit is hosting a job fair at its Everett administrative building from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30. The public is invited to learn about positions that will support bus service expansion in Snohomish County.

The transit agency plans to hire 100 bus driver trainees by the end of 2020 to On Site Job Fair accommodate expansion of service and account for attrition. Applicants do not need a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to be hired as a bus driver trainee. For qualified applicants, the agency will provide training and the opportunity to earn a CDL.

In addition to bus drivers and mechanics, the transit agency is also looking for administrative and facilities maintenance staff.

Job seekers can learn more about employment with the transit agency. The event is an opportunity for people to get an in-depth introduction to Community Transit, learn tips and tricks for applying and interviewing, and get help with writing a resume.

The on-site job fair will be held in the Community Transit boardroom in the Merrill Creek Administrative building at 7100 Hardeson Road in Everett.
