Community Transit offers free rides to get the COVID-19 vaccine

Starting Monday, September 20, Community Transit will again offer free, roundtrip bus rides to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Customers do not need to provide any documents; they can simply tell the bus driver they are traveling to get the vaccine or are returning from receiving it.

People can use the free ride to go to a doctor’s office, pharmacy or wherever they plan to get vaccinated. A statewide vaccine locator is available at vaccinelocator.doh.wa.gov.

People using Community Transit’s paratransit service, DART, have had access to free rides for vaccines since February.

To plan a trip to any location, go to https://www.communitytransit.org/ or call (425) 353-RIDE (7433) or TTY Relay 711.

Community Transit is committed to supporting public health efforts to help as many people get vaccinated as possible. Free bus rides will be offered through the end of the year.
