Community Transit is a proud recipient of three first-place awards from the American Public Transportation Association’s 2023 AdWheel Awards! These are awarded to APTA members for outstanding marketing and communication efforts that contribute to strategic organization goals.

Community Transit received first-place awards for the following categories:

“Best Electronic Media on Workforce Development" for our video series in support of mechanic recruitment.
“Best Educational Special Event“ for our Swift Orange Line Groundbreaking event.
“Best Educational Shoestring Tactic” for our blog series in support of Van GO surplus vehicle grant program

“I am proud of our talented staff for their dedication to promoting our services and programs in effective and creative ways,” said Community Transit CEO Ric Ilgenfritz. “Each of these awards represents national recognition of our commitment to delivering excellent service to our customers and our community.”
