In this episode, called “The Route to Prosperity,” we invite you to learn about how transit does more than just move people — it moves our economy forward.

See how public transportation turned Seattle from a small town to a thriving urban center. Plus, discover how transit supports local economies by creating jobs, connecting people to employment, and removing transportation barriers for people in your community.

“Every time you pay your bus or train fare, you’re supporting local jobs and helping to create a more sustainable, equitable, and prosperous future,” says Jennings, as he dives into the history of public transit in our region and how it has shaped our economy over three centuries.
