Local kids to benefit from Stuff-a-Bus donation event in Monroe, Dec. 12 and 13

Your gifts bring joy to preschool children and families

Fill up a Community Transit bus with toys, clothes, and other items at the Volunteers of America Stuff-a-Bus event from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. this Friday and Saturday, Dec. 12 and 13, at Fred Meyer in Monroe.

All donations will benefit preschool children and their families enrolled in the VOA Early Childhood Education & Assistance Program (ECEAP). ECEAP provides preschool education and family assistance for low-income households in Everett, Monroe, and Sultan.

Help support families with donations of stuffed animals, puzzles, board games, sports balls and gear, arts and crafts, as well as diapers, hand soap, socks, and other clothing items. To ensure the safety and positive impact of the donations, please consider donating toys that promote creativity, education, and imaginative play.

Volunteers will greet you at the Fred Meyer doors with donation ideas and then to help load donations into the bus.

For more information about this event, or about the VOA ECEAP program, contact Robin Hoover at (425) 879-2061.
