Youth Art on the Move

What started with paper, markers, paint, or digital sketches is now rolling through Snohomish County for everyone to see. Check out all the winning entries in three age groups.

Recently, two of our Youth Art Contest first-place winners and their families gathered for a special first look at their designs displayed on Community Transit buses. There were smiles, photos, and a lot of excitement as the buses pulled up, featuring their creations on the side of the buses. For the artists, it was a moment to see their ideas out in the world and to share a little bit about their creative process.

The Youth Art Contest celebrates how transit connects people—and these winners captured that spirit in a way the whole community can now enjoy. Keep an eye out as these buses travel across the county. You might just spot a young artist’s masterpiece on your next ride.
