WSDOT will be closing Hwy 9 this weekend for construction work
WSDOT will be closing Hwy 9 at the Snohomish River Bridge this weekend for construction work.
The closure will begin at 9 p.m. Friday, April 17, and will be in effect through the end of service on Sunday, April 19.
Only northbound Route 109 will reroute. Southbound Route 109 will remain on its regular route.
The map below shows the following:
- Northbound Route 109 trips will reroute, using I-5/Hwy 2 to Snohomish after serving Mariner Park and Ride.
- A Route 109 shuttle will pick up customers from Mariner P&R to the end of Cathcart Way. The shuttle will then return to Mariner P&R and transfer customers to the northbound Route 109 bus.
If you board the bus between Ash Way P&R and Mariner P&R and need to go to the area between Mariner P&R and Cathcart; please board the shuttle bus, which will be following the regular Route 109 bus, look for “Shuttle” on the front sign.
