Public hearing dates have been set for consideration of the proposed consolidation of Everett Transit and Community Transit service in Snohomish County.

On Wednesday, Sept. 30, the Everett City Council approved a resolution to set its public hearing date for Wednesday, Oct. 28.

On Thursday, the Community Transit Board of Directors set its public hearing date for Thursday, Oct. 29.

Both governing bodies will consider final action on an Interlocal Agreement for the City of Everett to annex into Community Transit’s service district in early November.

Public comment is encouraged. All public input received by Oct. 28 will be shared with the Everett City Council and Community Transit Board of Directors.
