Score an easy commute with your game-day transit playbook
Beat the traffic crush, catch every thrilling play, and take transit to catch all the action this season.

Whether you're heading out to cheer on your favorite team or heading home during rush hour, add extra travel time this fall. Game days and more than 70 WSDOT construction projects in King and Snohomish counties can have you stuck in gridlock. Follow these smart plays to beat the traffic:
Ditch the car
Skip parking fees and freeway slowdowns by using Community Transit’s Plan My Trip tool. It will help you find the nearest stops that connect to Sound Transit’s Link light rail.
Check Rider Alerts
Before you head out, check the latest Rider Alerts for the unexpected, such as cancellations, delays, or detours. If you’re not subscribed to our automated emails and texts for your route, sign up now.
Tap and go with ORCA
Load your ORCA card with funds or a monthly transit pass before leaving. Now you're ready to tap your card on the readers located at stations and on buses. You can also easily transfer from Community Transit routes to any of the six major agencies serving the region. That includes Everett Transit, King County Metro, and Sound Transit.
Arrive early
Expect crowds when popular teams and their devoted fans are rushing to see their MVPs. So, build in plenty of time to avoid the gate crunch.
Beat the chill
Check the weather forecast and layer up with warm, comfy, waterproof gear. Waiting outdoors can get cold fast.
Game on!
