Construction alert for riders at Lynnwood City Center Station

Changes start on Monday, Oct. 19.

Starting Monday, Oct. 19, the following changes will take place at Lynnwood City Center Station due to Sound Transit's Stride S2 bus rapid transit construction.

What's happening

  • Bay D1 will be closed for construction.
  • Southbound ST 535 will move from Bay D1 to Bay D2.
  • Northbound routes 901, 903, 904, and 905 will move from Bay D2 to Bay B4.
  • The pick-up and drop-off area on 202nd St SW will be for buses and ZIP vehicles only. Private vehicles may not use this area.

Plan ahead

  • Pedestrians should follow posted signs and directions at Lynnwood City Center Station.
  • Dates and times are subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen issues.
  • For pick-up and drop-off during construction, use the area on the east side of 46th Ave W, near the light rail station.

Why

Sound Transit Construction crews will close Bay D1 to prepare the bus shelter for future Stride double-decker battery-electric buses. Work is expected to last through February 2027. Learn more about the Stride S2 Line.
