WSDOT crews are demolishing the pedestrian bridge over I-405 at Canyon Park Park & Ride in Bothell, and the new bridge will not open until 2028. This will trigger major changes at the facility, including to your stops, schedules, and parking. It will also cause delays. Here's the breakdown so you can plan ahead:

  • Closure of pedestrian bridge over I-405 at Canyon Park Park & Ride in Bothell
  • Closure of Sound Transit southbound flyer stop on I-405 (#2736 or Bay 4)
  • Temporary stop for southbound routes ST 532 and ST 535 is Bay B inside the park & ride. Northbound routes ST 532 and ST 535 continue to use this temporary stop.
  • Temporary Swift station for the Swift Green Line and temporary Bays A and B will remain open.
  • All riders should arrive at least 5 minutes early since buses cannot wait during construction.

Weekend: Friday, Oct. 30 at 10 p.m. to Monday, Nov. 2 at 4 a.m.

  • Closure of all southbound lanes of I-405 from SR 522 to SR 527 in Bothell

  • Canyon Park Park & Ride remains open with some bay changes.

    • No parking at or near the temporary stop.
    • This is a 15-minute walk from the park & ride.
    • This is not a regular bus stop.

Options for pedestrians crossing I-405

With the new pedestrian bridge not opening until 2028, here are some options in the meantime:

  • Cross during bus service hours: Take Routes 106 and 120 from Canyon Park Park & Ride and get off at Bothell Way and 228th St SE. These routes leave Canyon Park approximately every 20–30 minutes.
  • Cross after bus service hours: The construction contractor will be providing a shuttle service via Uber. Pedestrians can scan the QR code on the signage to pre-load an Uber ride across I-405 to approximately Bothell Way and 228th St.
