On-Board survey Sept. 17 – Oct. 24

Tell us who you are and why you ride!

For the next few weeks, Community Transit will be surveying riders on buses, and rewarding participants.

Starting Saturday, September 17, Community Transit will conduct an onboard survey with the aim of better understanding the travel habits of people who use our bus service.

This survey is done every three to five years and is essential for us to know how bus riding patterns have changed, particularly as we emerge from the pandemic.

If you are riding a Community Transit bus on any day between Sept. 17 - Oct. 24, you may be approached by one of our representatives. You will be handed a piece of paper and asked to fill out a five-minute survey about your travel patterns that day, your experiences using Community Transit services, and demographic questions. The survey will be available in English and Spanish.

How it will work

After you return the paper, you will either be given a free-ride ticket or the chance to be entered into a sweepstakes to win one of three $500 gift cards.

In addition to learning how current bus riders are traveling, the survey results help us to ensure we are providing equitable service throughout our area of operation. We ask that you please take a few minutes to complete the survey.

So, for a chance to win while you ride, stay on the lookout for our surveyors! They will be easy to spot wearing nametags and carrying clipboards.
