Snohomish County, Wash. – The Community Transit Board of Directors’ monthly board meeting will be at 3 p.m, Thursday, August 5. A public hearing will be held on the 2021-2026 Transit Development Plan (TDP).
Both the public hearing and regular meeting will take place as a virtual meeting due to ongoing COVID-19 precautions. Meeting materials, information on how to watch or listen to the meeting, and how to sign up to provide public comment, can be found at this link: https://bit.ly/CTBdAgendaAug2021.
If you wish to comment during the TDP public hearing please fill out the Sign Up Form and join using the Zoom meeting link on the agenda. Advance sign-up is not required but is requested by 12 p.m. the day of the meeting. Written comments may be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org by August 5.
The TDP is a state-mandated report that forecasts revenue and service levels for the next six years and is updated every year. Last year’s TDP outlined “slow recovery” and “rapid recovery” revenue scenarios based on economic uncertainty created by the COVID-19 pandemic. This year’s plan forecasts revenue that exceeds the “rapid recovery” scenario, laying the groundwork for a 30% increase in transit service by 2026.
The board holds regular meetings on the first Thursday of each month.
