Nondiscrimination Policy

 

Community Transit services are available to everyone.

 

Pursuant to federal laws and in accordance with applicable state and local laws: Community Transit grants all people equal access to its transportation services and no person shall, on the grounds of race, skin color, age, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship, veteran status, sex, gender expression, sexual orientation, income, English proficiency or the presence of any sensory, mental, or physical disability as provided by the legal statutes listed below, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity.

Community Transit Title VI Program

Title VI Program 2019-2022. If you believe you have been discriminated against on the basis of race, color or national origin by Community Transit, you may file a Title VI complaint by completing, signing and submitting the agency’s Title VI Complaint Form

How to file a complaint with Community Transit

  1. Download a PDF of the Title VI Complaint Form. Or, have a form mailed to you by contacting Customer Service at (425) 353-RIDE (7433), (800) 562-1375, TTY Relay 711
  2. Complaints must be filed within 180 days of the alleged discriminatory act and should contain as much detailed information about the alleged discrimination as possible.
  3. The form must be signed and include your contact information.
