About the Fair

The Evergreen State Fair runs Aug 22 through Sept 2 at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe. There is something different offered every day. Make sure to check out their calendar of events (because who wants to miss chainsaw carvers or lumberjacks?).

The Fair offer free or reduced admission on certain days. Seniors get in free on Monday, August 26, and kids under 12 get in free on Thursday, August 29.

Pay Your Fare

Riding the bus is less expensive and less stressful than parking at the Fair. Adult fares are $2.50, youth fares (6-18) are $1.75 and Reduced Fares (Senior 65+/Disabled/Medicare/ORCA LIFT) are $1.25 with a reduced fare pass.

If you pay by cash, please bring exact change. If you pay with an ORCA Card, you will receive a two-hour transfer with your ride.

Don't forget our Park & Rides! Free parking is available at Everett Station and at the Gold Bar, Snohomish and Sultan Park & Ride lots. If you're parking at the Snohomish Park & Ride, walk out to Avenue D to catch the bus.

Join Us at the Fair

Come see us at the Evergreen Morning of Dreams on Aug 28 from 9 -11 a.m. This special event provides the opportunity for children and adults with disabilities or special needs to experience the fun of the Fair in a calmer setting. We will be there with our Community Transit Travel Trainers to help answer questions about our free Travel Training Program, designed to help those with special needs learn how to ride the bus and gain independence.

Have fun at the Fair!
