Lend us your voice and help us improve our services
At Community Transit your voice matters, that’s why we created the Community Voice— a voluntary panel of local residents who help us understand the needs of our community members. We’re reaching out to people like you to share feedback that will help us improve our services.
Earlier this summer we conducted our first panel survey and here’s what we learned:
Some things customers enjoy about using Community Transit services
Routes to major destinations with limited stops
Friendly and polite attitude of the drivers
Clean, safe, and comfortable experiences
Convenient location of bus stops to residential areas and key destinations
Participants shared that Community Transit could improve in these areas
Provide better connection to Light Rail
Build better infrastructure around and leading to bus stops for accessibility e.g. sidewalks, bike lanes leading to bus stops/hubs
Make it faster to get from place to place by increasing the frequency of services and reliability
Provide extended hours of service
Provide more direct routes
Make the experience feel safer, including on the bus and at bus stops
Community Transit has heard you and will be rolling out many exciting improvements starting in 2024
Creating new express routes that provide frequent service connecting to and from light rail
Increasing frequency by tripling the number of routes that operate every 20 minutes or less, and doubling the number of routes that operate every 30 minutes
Increasing mid-day and evening service throughout the county
Improving connections between routes throughout the county
Increasing security by deploying a significantly expanded security program that includes 18 Transit Security Officers, a full-time social worker, and a 24/7 Security Operations Center
