All riders should check their schedules for changes

Community Transit is making changes to bus service on Aug. 30, 2025. Riders will see more trips on busy routes, more weekend service, changes to some routes, and more frequent Swift buses run in the evenings and on weekends.

Visit Community Transit's service change webpage to learn more, or keep reading to get a high-level view of the changes.

Why are we making these changes?

Community Transit makes four service changes each year: two regular updates in the spring and early fall, and two smaller adjustments in the early summer and winter.

These changes improve connections between buses, adjust schedules for actual travel times, and make Community Transit service more reliable. In some cases, these changes are in response to rider comments and requests.
