Check your mailbox. Snohomish County Elections Office mailed more than half a million ballots to registered voters, and they have until Tuesday, Nov. 3, to make their vote count. Officials are encouraging people to return their ballots as early as possible. Here's how:
Use official ballot drop boxes
38 official ballot drop boxes are open 24/7 until 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3. That includes three new locations: Evergreen Library Branch in Everett, Maltby Elementary in Maltby, and Salem Woods Elementary in Monroe.
Take transit
Find the nearest ballot drop box on Snohomish County's website, and use Community Transit's Plan My Trip tool to take a bus to the drop box.
Paratransit transportation available
Community Transit offers DART Paratransit services for qualified riders. Voters who need more assistance can call Washington Relay at 800-833-6388, 7-1-1 (TTY/TDD) or visit the Washington Secretary of State Elections webpage.
In-person services
Services are available for those who need to vote in person, register to vote, update existing registrations, get a replacement ballot, receive help completing a ballot, or use accessible voting options.

Snohomish County Elections office says using an official ballot drop box is the most reliable way to turn in ballots. However, voters can also mail them for free. Ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3. The U.S. Postal Service recommends mailing ballots at least one week before the deadline.
