Play Transit Trivia with us!

During the month of June, we’ll be hosting online Transit Trivia on our social channels for Ride Transit Month. You can participate for a chance to win a limited-edition Community Transit Ride Transit shirt!

How to play:

  • Follow us on Facebook or Instagram.
  • Look for our weekly Transit Trivia post every Tuesday at 9 a.m. in June, starting on June 3.
  • Post your answer to the question in the comments for each week’s post by Wednesday at 11:59 p.m.
  • Each Friday, we will reveal the correct answer, and select up to two winners per platform (up to two in Facebook and two in Instagram!)

Contest rules

  • No purchase necessary.
  • Eligibility: This contest is open to U.S. residents 18 and older, who reside in Snohomish County. Community Transit employees, contractors, and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.
  • Prize: Participants entering Community Transit’s Ride Transit Month Online Transit Trivia are entering for a chance to win a limited-edition Community Transit Ride Transit t-shirt. Sizes and quantities are limited.
  • Prize Limitations: Participants are eligible to win only one prize during Ride Transit Month.
  • Timing: Each week during the month of June, Community Transit will post a Transit Trivia question on Tuesday. Each round opens when the question is posted on Tuesday and closes Wednesday at 11:59 p.m. of the same week (June 3-4, June 10-11, June 17-18, June 24-25, 2025).
  • How to Enter: To enter, participants must follow Community Transit on Facebook or Instagram to see each Tuesday’s question. Participants must post their Transit Trivia answer in the comments of each Tuesday’s trivia question post. Only one answer per person.
  • Prize Distribution: Community Transit will randomly select up to two winners with the correct answer to the week's Transit Trivia question per social platform (up to two on Facebook and two on Instagram) each week during Ride Transit Month (June 2 – June 27). Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. Prize winners will be notified via DM via Facebook or Instagram / Meta. Winners must provide a valid first and last name, and Snohomish County address for the prize to be mailed to. If a winner does not respond within 5 days, the prize may be forfeited, and another winner will be selected. Please allow up to 14 business days for prize delivery.
  • Prize Acceptance: By accepting a prize, winners consent to having their first names and Facebook or Instagram handle and answer being posted on Community Transit’s Instagram or Facebook channels.

  • Participants agree to release Meta from any responsibility or liability related to the contest.
  • Participants must comply with all applicable Meta guidelines, terms of use, and community guidelines throughout the contest.

General conditions

  • Community Transit reserves the right to change, suspend, or cancel the drawing if unforeseen circumstances or technical issues arise.
  • Community Transit’s decisions about any aspect of the contest, including winner selections, are final and binding.
  • Community Transit reserves the right to disqualify any participant for failure to follow the rules, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive to the contest.
