Community Transit awarded for outstanding marketing & communication work

Community Transit is a proud recipient of three first-place awards from the American Public Transportation Association’s 2022 AdWheel Awards! These are awarded to APTA members for outstanding marketing and communication efforts that contribute to strategic organization goals.

Community Transit was awarded first-place awards for the following: 

• “Best Print Media on the COVID-19 Pandemic” for our work to raise awareness of our COVID-19 safety measures and how to ride safely.
• “Best Educational Comprehensive Campaign” and “Best Educational Electronic Media” for our work to recruit bus drivers.

“Every one of our employees plays a part in creating a positive and engaging experience for our customers,” said Community Transit CEO Ric Ilgenfritz. “It’s wonderful to see our marketing work honored with these awards. Whether it's creating a campaign to raise awareness about our safety measures during the pandemic or helping to recruit the bus drivers and mechanics that keep our buses running, we couldn’t do it without the skill and passion they bring to work each day.”
