In case you don’t know yet, big changes are coming to Community Transit on March 30 as we expand our services to accommodate the future of transit in Snohomish County. You will have more service, more connections, and greater frequency that creates flexibility with transit in your community.

We've been talking about these changes on our blog recently. If you haven't read the articles yet, we've linked to all of them in this story, click on a link to learn more.

Introducing the Swift Orange Line

On March 30,  you can start riding the  Swift Orange Line for fast, frequent, and reliable transit between Edmonds College, Lynnwood Transit Center, Alderwood Mall, and Mill Creek. The Swift Orange Line is Community Transit’s third bus rapid transit (BRT) line in Snohomish County, and will connect you with regional transit options, getting you farther, faster. Learn more.

Three new bus routes will be added

In addition to the new Swift Orange Line, three new routes will be expanding your transit options in South Snohomish County. These new bus routes  are Route 102 (Edmonds – Lynnwood), Route 114 (Aurora Village – Lynnwood), and Route 166 (Edmonds - Silver Firs.) These new bus routes will replace existing routes that will be eliminated on March 30. Learn more.

Routes 115, 116, and 196 are being replaced

Three bus routes will be eliminated and replaced with new routes. The routes that will no longer be in service are Route 115 (McCollum Park – Aurora Village), Route 116 (Silver Firs - Edmonds), and Route 196 (Ash Way - Edmonds). If you ride one of these routes, you will take a new route to reach your destination.

Routes 120 and 202 will have changes

A segment of Route 120 between Lynnwood Transit Center and Edmonds College will be replaced by new routes. Additionally, a segment of Route 202 between 152nd St. NE and Smokey Point Transit Center in Arlington is being rerouted.  Learn more.
