Community Transit is here to get you where you want to go. We are proud to be a part of the Lake Stevens community — we live here, ride here, and drive here. Wherever you need to go in Lake Stevens and beyond, feel good about how you get there.

About Lake Stevens

Lake Stevens is a small city located about six miles East of Everett named for the lake it surrounds. Along with its many residential areas, it has two major commercial centers: downtown and Frontier Village. People traveling to and from the area can choose from four bus routes that serve the Lake Stevens Transit Center. People can also use Community Transit's DART paratransit service and Vanpool services. Multiple parks and trails also offer nearby options for pedestrians and bikers.

Community Transit honored with Grand Award for outstanding marketing work

The award recognizes Community Transit ’s video series for mechanic recruitment.

APTA AdWheel Awards

Earlier this year, we were thrilled to announce that Community Transit was a proud recipient of three first-place awards from the American Public Transportation Association’s 2023 AdWheel Awards. These awards are given to APTA members for their exceptional efforts in marketing and communication that contribute to the organization's strategic goals.

One of these winners was also granted a Grand Award in APTA's 2023 AdWheel Awards.

Check out our grand prize winner at the link:

  • “Best Electronic Media on Workforce Development" for our video series in support of mechanic recruitment.

Grand award winners were recognized on Oct. 10 at the APTA Honors Breakfast in Orlando.

“This Grand award signifies nationwide acknowledgment of our marketing team’s outstanding work to ensure we have the workforce we need to support our growing transit network,” said Community Transit CEO Ric Ilgenfritz. “The same top-notch talent is also ensuring that our community members get powerful reminders of the opportunities our services represent for improving their lives. I am proud that we have such a highly skilled team in place to support and highlight the work we do for our communities every day.”

Big congrats to our Marketing team for their award-winning work!
