About Mill Creek

Mill Creek has a variety of transit options. There are two Swift Bus Rapid Transit lines that run through Mill Creek. The Swift Green Line runs from Seaway to Canyon Park. The new Swift Orange Line, which runs from McCollum Park & Ride to Edmonds College, connects riders to Lynnwood Transit Center and Link Light Rail coming in fall of 2024 . People traveling to and from the area can connect with local transit options at three nearby transit hubs including Ash Way Park & Ride, Mariner Park & Ride, and McCollum Park & Ride. Mill Creek riders can find service through by Community Transit buses, DART paratransit service, and Vanpool. Sound Transit also provides service to local park & rides. North Creek Trail also offers nearby options for pedestrians and bikers.

Community Transit awarded for outstanding marketing and communication work

Employees pose with their AdWheel awards.

Community Transit is a proud recipient of three first-place awards from the American Public Transportation Association’s 2023 AdWheel Awards! These are awarded to APTA members for outstanding marketing and communication efforts that contribute to strategic organization goals.

Community Transit received first-place awards for the following categories:

  • “Best Electronic Media on Workforce Development" for our video series in support of mechanic recruitment.
  • “Best Educational Special Event“ for our Swift Orange Line Groundbreaking event.
  • “Best Educational Shoestring Tactic” for our blog series in support of Van GO surplus vehicle grant program

“I am proud of our talented staff for their dedication to promoting our services and programs in effective and creative ways,” said Community Transit CEO Ric Ilgenfritz. “Each of these awards represents national recognition of our commitment to delivering excellent service to our customers and our community.”

And congratulations to our fellow 2023 AdWheel Award winners from Washington state — Link Transit, Spokane Transit Authority, and C-TRAN.

Want to join an award-winning team? Community Transit is hiring.
