Paying transit fares

Not only is taking transit affordable, but paying is easy. You can Tap to Pay or grab an ORCA card if you'll be riding a lot. See which is right for you:

Tap to Pay

Tap to Pay directly with your credit or debit card, or use Apple Pay™, Google Pay™, or Samsung Pay™ on your phone or smart device to pay your fare using the card reader. Continue using the same card to get a transfer credit for two-hours after you pay.

  • Great for single trips or if you don't ride often.

Pay with ORCA

An ORCA card works on all major public transit agencies in the region. You can get a card online at myORCA.com, ticket vending machines at transit stations, or at some retailers. You can load money onto your card ahead of time, or buy a monthly or single day pass to save even more. ORCA also gets a transfer credit for two-hours after you tap.

  • The best option if you plan to ride a lot.
