Rte 412 & 860: We're All Taking Turns to Help Improve Service at McCollum Park & Ride

Sep 27, 2017, 05:49 PM

Customers of Route 412 and 860, we hear you!

This week, our September Service Change went into effect:

  • Route 115 now uses Bay #1 at McCollum P & R.
  • Routes 412 and 860 share Bay #2.

This has created some confusion for customers who are queuing up in line to board their bus, particularly around 5:45 a.m. and 6:25 a.m.

Starting immediately, drivers of Routes 412 and 860 will do the following:

  • Route 860 buses will hold back in the layover area. This will leave Bay #2 available for Route 412, which passes through McCollum Park & Ride.
  • Route 860 buses will pull into Bay #2 closer to their departure time.

Drivers have been instructed to pull up to the front of the stop so customers can board. This action will help you will know where the head of the line is for your route.

Why do Routes 412 and 860 have to share a bay? Route 115 is now dedicated to Bay #1 because it arrives and departs from McCollum Park & Ride to better serve our local customers. There is some time between departures and it is more economical to sit at the bay between trips.

Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation!
