About Sultan

Sultan is one of the smallest cities in Snohomish County with an estimated population of 5,388. It is located 23 miles east of Everett at the junction of the Skykomish River and the Sultan River. In recent years, Sultan has grown as workers commuting to Everett, Seattle, and Bellevue have made it home. People traveling to and from two Community Transit routes that serve the area. Other options include DART paratransit service and Vanpool.

Public hearing and monthly board meeting, May 2

A public hearing on Community Transit’s Fall 2024 Fare Change Proposal will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, May 2. After the public hearing, the Community Transit Board of Directors will hold its monthly meeting.

 

Agenda items for the board meeting include:

 

  • Presentation: Innovative Services – Pilot Area Recommendation
  • Action item:  Award RFP #2019-035, Coach and Swift Station Voice and Data Services

The board holds regular meetings on the first Thursday of each month. The Community Transit Board Room is in the Cascade Building, 2312 W Casino Rd, Everett, WA 98204
